Lingjun Zhao


About Me

I’m currently a CS graduate student at Columbia University, specialized in machine learning, and interested in its applications to computer vision and natural language processing. Experienced in modeling with CNN and LSTM for CV and NLP. Researched at High-level Vision Lab to improve pose estimation, advised by John R. Kender.

I hold a BS in Computational Mathematics from Sun Yat-Sen University, and learned pure maths at UC Berkeley. Good at numerical methods, probability and optimization theory. Meanwhile, I received prizes in Asia Student Supercomputer Challenge and was R&D lead at McDoing Studio.

Amateur enthusiast of chess, astronomy and Chinese literature.
